Willow Tree Closeup
Looking at willow trees often reminds me of the impressionist style of painting. It helps that they’re often found near bodies of water. The reflection and the Willow tree’s low hanging branches have a wispy quality which the impressionist artists often utilized in their works.
This photo – taken last year in the late Autumn – is a closeup of a Willow on Lake Washington. HDR makes the painterly look all the more vivid.
Grassy Footprint with Morning Dew
I took this digital capture of my footprint in the grass when I noticed how much contrast my steps made in the light of early morning. The dew on the grass was thick in this Autumn photograph.
